Principal Dr. Tallat Rehman

Dr. Tallat Rehman — a distinguished scholar, PhD in Urdu, celebrated educationist, visionary leader, and a beacon of intellectual grace — took the helm as Principal of Govt. Graduate College, Raiwind, Lahore in 2022.

"I carry with me a firm belief in the transformative power of education—and a vision to evolve this college into a space where academic excellence, personal development, and community engagement thrive side by side.

Over the past three years, with commitment and consistency, we have made measurable progress across academic, structural, and cultural domains. Slowly and steadily, we are laying the foundations for a future that is brighter, bolder, and more inclusive for every student who walks through our gates."

Improved Infrastructure & Modernization Efforts

To support academic expansion, we've directed our resources into meaningful infrastructure development:

  • A New Seminar Hall offering a dedicated space for academic and BS-level events.
  • Renovated BS Block have created a more student-friendly, safe learning environment.
  • Official Website of the college is now live and fully operational, equipped with all essential features, providing complete and up to date information for students, staff and visitors.
  • Our Computer lab is a fully functional digital learning space with 30 computers, accessories, and internet connectivity.
  • Fully Equipped Science Laboratories providing safer, more efficient spaces for experimentation.
  • Operational Dispensary We've made healthcare more accessible through a functional dispensary on campus, ensuring that students and staff have immediate medical support in case of minor injuries or emergencies.
  • Campus Beautification & Environmental Initiatives with flower beds, potted plants, and decorated corridors now bring life and color to the campus.
  • Administrative and clerical offices with updated computer systems and printers to streamline operations and boost efficiency.
  • A Day Care Center providing much-needed support for our female faculty members with children, allowing them to work with peace of mind.

  • Signing an MoU with a newly constructed Sports Stadium, ensuring dedicated days exclusively for our students
  • Badminton and Volleyball Courts are in the pipeline to further support student's sports facilities
